American Red Cross: First Aid
Oakland ~ The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation (OPR), Aquatics Unit is proud to offer American Red Cross standard First Aid and CPR courses in February at the Lake Merritt Boating Center located at 568 Bellevue Avenue, Oakland, California 94610.

Teaching rescue breathing, choking rescue and adult, infant and child CPR, and accessing Emergency Medical Services (EMS). You will also learn how to treat cuts, bruises, bone and muscle injuries, shock, bleeding and other first aid emergencies. This course is ideal to fulfill requirements for a California teaching credential, and is designed to meet OSHA guidelines for the workplace.

Cost: $70 includes text materials and pocket mask
