Chabot Space and Science Center's Ask Jeeves Planetarium, located at 10000 Skyline Blvd., presents the following holiday shows, playing through Jan. 2:

"The Alien Who Stole Christmas": Hop aboard a flying saucer with Santa Claus and his new friend, Mr. Freep. Join them as they explore the planets in our solar system in this delightful holiday adventure. Recommended for families with young children.

"'Tis the Season:" This holiday show explores Yuletide customs and seasons, solstice celebrations, centuries-old traditions of bringing light to a dark time of the year, and astronomical phenomena that could explain the Star of Bethlehem.
