On Saturday, November 12, 2005 Oakland Parks and Recreation (OPR) and California Dragon Boat Association (CDBA) co-sponsored the First Annual CDBA College Championships on Lake Merritt. UC Berkeley's Cal A team took the honors and a huge dragon trophy that will be passed from winner to winner each year
