Special Programs
The following listed special programs are offered at participating Oakland pool facilities but may/may not be affiliated with the City of Oakland, designed to offer supplementary programming to best serve the community. Barracudas
Empowering athletes of all ages to reach their potential in life through the positive values of competitive swimming. The Oakland Barracudas are committed to offering a comprehensive competitive program to Oakland and the Bay Area. Be they novice or national caliber athlete, the Barracudas are firm in their belief that the sport of swimming is to be enjoyed and experienced by all who wish to be involved with the program. Temescal Masters
Temescal Aquatic Masters is a United States Masters Swimming registered masters swimming club. The team includes swimmers of all levels, from novice to Olympic caliber; athletes of all persuasions, from fitness swimmers to seasoned triathletes; people of all backgrounds, from school teachers to entrepreneurs to full-time parents. Temescal Aquatic Masters value physical fitness, personal achievement, friendship, and above all, fun! www.temescalmasters.org.
