The next step in sailing: taking responsibility for
the boat as skipper and sailing in the challenging
San Francisco Bay. This course builds on the
framework of the Basic Keelboat class. Topics
covered include an introduction to navigation,
tides and currents, shipping traffic avoidance,
weather introduction, refined sail trim, crew
duties and crew coordination.
*Keelboat courses are certified through
American Sailing Association.
