Become certified to safely sail a keelboat 20-25
feet in length in the protected Oakland Estuary.
This course covers basic nautical terminology,
points or sail, knots, rigging, casting off and
docking with an outboard engine. The US Coast
Guard recognizes Basic Keelboat Sailing as
meeting all requirements for mandatory
education and licensing.

American Sailing Association.
