Oakland Civic Orchestra Membership and Auditions Artistic Director: Martha Stoddard (510) 238-7275 Members come from cities throughout the Bay Area to participate and the orchestra currently is at a membershipof 50 with complete wind, brass and percussion sections. Players range in skills and experience from intermediate to professional levels. New members are always welcome in the string section; interested string players should call or e-mail for more information prior to attending rehearsal. Winds, Brass and Percussion are accepted by audition as vacancies occur. Interested players are encouraged to contact the director to learn about vacancies and/or to arrange for an informal audition.
Dues
Currently dues are $50 per quarter. Members may donate services in lieu of dues payments.
