The City-Wide Dance Program is a great opportunity providing participants with a diverse cultural experience that they will learn and grow with their entire lives. The classes will be held at selected recreation centers around the City of Oakland. Participants may sign up for classes at their recreation center or at the Office of Parks and Recreation.

Instructors will teach a variety of classes that will range from African-Haitian, Ballet, to Modern dance. The select dances allow instructors to work on traditional techniques, choreography, and basic dancing skills while building the students skills up form the basics of dancing to advanced techniques.

Students will learn cultural dances and techniques, they will be making new friends and having a great time.
