Established in 1993, the Lakeside Horticultural Center located in beautiful Lakeside Park beside Lake Merritt. Lakeside Park is accessible via Grand Avenue public transit. This garden is an ideal destination for plant lovers. On a seasonal basis, garden demonstrates use of cover crops, companion planting, square foot gardening, drip irrigation and permaculture methods.
