The Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) and the City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation (OPR) are working together to provide a comprehensive, collaborative after-school program at eight (8) combination recreation center/elementary school sites called The Passport Program.

After-School Program
The Passport Program provides full, comprehensive, daily after-school programming for elementary-aged youth each school day, Monday through Friday from 3:00 ~ 6:00pm, plus extended hours on minimum days. Programs are held both at the recreation center and at the school site with supervised transportation provided between the sites.

Participants
Participants must be registered in the program and are expected to attend all program days and hours to be included in this project. There will be a parental sign-in and sign-out procedure daily and membership cards assigned.
