Youth Event Security

Security Guards
As required by the Office of Parks and Recreation, a minimum of two uniformed security guards for every 40 to 50 youths will be required. The security guards will be responsible to monitor gates and for ensuring guests have proper invitations to attend event. If available with advanced notice, Oakland Park Rangers are preferred. If not available, the selected security guard company must be licensed and bonded.

NOTE: The security guard contract must be acquired prior to applying for OPD special events permit.

Costs
Renter will be responsible for all costs.
Oakland Park Ranger*       $51/hour
* Note that this hourly rate is for each Oakland Park Ranger required. Fees are paid to Park OPD-Special Events Unit.
